You might point people to that reference...


Regarding major/minor chords, if you are going to go into music theory, you should briefly describe them. Something like: A major triad is a major third (4 semitones) and a minor third (3 semitones); a minor triad is a minor third and a major third. And the first note of the second third starts from the last note of the first third.

Erm, that sounds a bit more unclear than I wanted, but you know what I mean. I'm sure it could be phrased in a clearer manner.

id have to write a whole another fyi on chords...... hmmm lets see what other feed back i get on this.

it might help to mention that you may not have to find chord generators online, b/c fruityloops has auto chord generators in the piano roll menus. I never use em though myself, b/c I find my own chords based on how good they sound.

thats a great link...it seems to sum everything pretty much up. just skimming it, the one thing that i didn't see any info on was inverted chords...was it in there or should i go into how to construct those because those can be really helpful when it comes to progression...
