I dont like chemical brothers or fatboy slim, but prodigy are wikked, probably the main influence that got me into the electronic music scene.

Not into Prodigy so much anymore but CB and Fatboy Slim are really cool.
CB has made some really phat tunes, I get goosebumps whenever I listen
to "Come With Us" or "Hot Acidrhythm", fuck they are so good.

The boring thing with CB is that all their livesets are all alike,
they just play their own stuff, I have 5 gigs of them now and everyone
is more or less alike, just their own stuff.

Fatboy Slim is another chapter of my life, sure he has made some money
on his creativity but I just think he is worth every penny of it.
So many of his tunes can raise the bar of a party just another notch,
like the tunes "Right Here, Right Now" or "Praise You", just pure bliss.
And Fatboy Slim is a pretty good DJ too.

Chemical Brothers are brilliant, Surrender was soooo damn good. The bass drop in 'Under The Influence' (and the energy for that matter) blow my socks off everytime i hear it on a good stereo. Sunshine Undergrounds great as well..so cool when you first listen to it, and when it goes double time...you knew i was in for somethin when i first heard it Favourite Chemical Bros tune would probably Star Guitar. It's just soo damn beautiful, makes me so happy

Never really got into Fatboy, always thought he was pretty over-rated, altho i do like some of the stuff he's made. Prodigy on the other hand..MUSIC FOR THE JILTED GENERATION!!! Easily their best album, that album is soooooo fucking awesome. All good tracks, all with so much energy!!

Not true. Chemicals used to call themselves Dust Brothers before they produced anything and the "real" Dust Brothers were relatively big back then already (they produced most of the Beastie Boys' second album). They just used the name because "they were never going to become famous anyway".

As for what comes to these 3 acts - without them I wouldn't be listening to any forms of electronic music. Nuff said.

I totally agree with that comment, these artists shaped my musical preferences.

Chemical Brothers I saw at Manchester Academy about a year ago that was fucking class, really trippy stage show, all round quality.
Saw Fatboy Slim when I went to Glastonbury In '99, it was a dj set, but I wasn't that impressed.
I got into the Prodigy through Fat of The Land and then worked backwards really, lovin everythin they've done.

All these acts are top notch as far as Im concerned - I think they're all very innovative as well, can't wait for some new material from them all.

When I first heard Firestarter when i was about 12/13 I immediately got Fat Of The Land as soon as it came out. Ever since I've never looked back and they are probably responsible for my obsession with dance music.

I like the Chemical Brothers and fatboy Slim but don't think either of them are amazing. A lot of the Chems tracks are brilliant but others are a bit dodgy. I think Fatboy Slim's artist albums are good, but not groundbreaking, although his DJ sets are great for parties.

One of the first songs that got me into electronic music was Setting Sun. I heard that song when it came out in 96? and was like . I went out and bought every CD of theirs I could find. I listened to that stuff all the time. I got the chance to see them perform live about a year ago by Chicago. They were completely awesome and played some older tunes that just brought back memories.

I also discovered the Prodigy around the same time and loved them too. I remember hearing Firestarter on the local radio at night on an electronic/industrial show. I saw them in 1998 in Chicago. They played for an hour and it was awesome.
Those guys are my roots.

The dust brothers did the soundtrack for The Fight Club. I watched it last night. Great flick by the way.

But like the one guy said.. Chems dont equal Dust.
