DJ Dan should start his residency this summer.
On friday and saturdays only residents... the woman on saturday was Maus, she's simply awesome.
Almost all of our residents are also producers, they create and remix tracks... which is very different from most clubs where the djs are only djs.
Preach (Fridays)
Yaz (Fridays)
Mateo Murphy (Saturdays and Fridays)
DJ Miko ( Fridays)
Fred Everything(Saturday)
are all producers...
Maus (Saturdays)
Nic B (Sat)
are Djs only.

this thread has reminded me what an amazing time i had at aria in february. that club and that city owns. i can hardly wait to go back. when i first got there i couldn't understand what all the hoopala was about, b/c the club is more 'raw' in appearnce then say, guv.
But holy shiza, that club is perfection!
also, it seems that montreal has big names w. residencies from outside of canada like sander k and dj dan, (not to say that our local talent isn't great) which I think is really cool!

I frequent Montreal about once every 2,3 months. Aria is a wicked club and for the most part you don't get bothered by shirtless wonders or gays but they are there.
Stereo is also a wicked, wicked time! Next time you are there I suggest hitting that place up (Especially when Sander is there)
My next stop is Tyrant @ stereo!
