OH MAN, just checked the results today... i cant believe i finished 2nd last again . lol i thought my mixing actually improved since last time. haha i suk, congrats to bladerunner. also any judges if you could pm me with some comments i would like to know what i need to improve (prolly everything )

01-01 ministry of sound - cafe del mar (michael woods remix)
- Chill out track for the intro , why not...
01->02 ayla - angelfalls
- Nice crossfade , set beginns
02->03 sound tronic - we can fly
- Transition ok , in sync and you closed the fader at the good time
03->04 trinity - into the blue
- Tonality sounds a bit off and it s not in synch at the end of the mix
04->05 hook - odyssey (radio edit)
- very bad trancsition , a small gap during the transition and it sounds so bad when you cut trinity's basses .
05->06 aurora - ordinary world (condor remix)
- Volume is too low for the incoming track that s why you lost energy from the previous track
06->07 svensk feat sophie mae - touched by an angel (angels heaven)
- In sync , like previous transition , some pb with the gain
07->08 tory kay - ocean fantasies (radio mix)
- transition ok
08->09 paul van dyk - we are alive (vandit vocal mix)
- just a small mistake with the pitch
09->10 future breeze - mind in motion (oiginal mix)
- In sync , but transition is too late , you lost energy once again
10->11 marc et claude - loving you
- same pb as before

Tracklisting : You chose to mix old tunes , I added some bonus points because you were the only one to do that. I noticed a lot of vocals tune too. The first two tracks were a nice choice to begin the set
Beatmatching : good in general , there wasn't a big mistake.
Transition Harmonic : Your mix were a bit annoying , there wasn t a real progression due to some "late" transition . some pbs with the gain too

- nice intro track

01->02 Goldenscan - Sunrise [Ronski Speed Remix]

- transition is good , nothing else to say

02->03 Rank 1 - Breathing (push mix)

- transition in synch but energy lost due to push mix . basses didn t fit well.

03->04 Questia - Nexus asia

- once again in synch. Sound quality is a bit less

04->05 midway - amazon (original mix)

- You started the mix a bit late and lost the energy.

05->06 Neo & Farina - Barchetta (DJ Precision, M.I.D.O.R. & Six4Eight Somatic Sense Remix)

- nice transition , you put barchetta at the good time. I think you should have stopped amazon a bit earlier.

06->07 Aly & Fila - Eyes Of Horus (Ronski Speed mix)

- Another Ronski Speed track , and this track is not very original though mix was in synch

07->08 Pulser - My religion ( Original mix )

- Crossfade. sounds not very good

08->09 airwave - when things go wrong(2003 remix)

- In synch , you put it at the right time. awesome tune to finish the mix



+ Track selection : not very original , a lot of tune we can heard 100 times this year (pulser , ronski speed ...) . but it was a 100% trance set , so the mark wasn t so bad
Try to include some 'unknown' tunes or songs which are not played every week

+ Beat matching : One of the best in the competition , an excellent skill , always good for ears and for the mark

+ Transition harmonize: If you want a better result for the newt compet , you should work on it. although a lot of transitions were very clean , I noticed some losts of energy ,
what decreases the score. Try to begin your transition a bit earlier and not waiting the
end of the track.

Any comments on my mix would be welcome...
