Tijd voor een kleine update: Blue Sky returns to the airwaves!

Ten eerste is er in maart de relaunch van FutureGrooves waarvan ik natuurlijk nog steeds resident ben en waarvoor ik gedurende één uurtje per maand weer proggy tunes zal draaien.

Ten tweede volgt er mijn eigen maandelijkse twee-uur durende radioshow (de zender maak ik wel op het gepaste tijdstip bekend )

ETN expands into a 3rd channel for more variety!

You've been hearng the rumors for a while now, I think it's time we de-cloak the mystery! On March 1, ETN will attempt to launch a new channel called simply "ETN3".

It started off as the "Rising Stars Channel" but under Freezel's guidance it has snowballed into something much bigger! ETN Channel 3 will not be limited to any particular genre of music or quality of DJ, expect bedroom DJ's and headliners alike, as well as many shows by various labels highlighting their talent. Since it is ETN, expect a heavy trance/prog flavor especially to start with, but I know there are already several House and maybe even some Techno shows lining up and we're actively on the lookout for more DJs from styles not specifically trance & prog.

**TECHNICAL NOTE** ETN3 WILL BE AN AAC+ STREAM! If you aren't aware, there are much better audio compression methods available today than MP3. Our stream sponsor is no longer adding mp3 streams, so ETN3 will be AAC+ only, meaning you need to be running Winamp (which you ought to be running anyway, it's the best) or check and see if there is a AAC+ plugin or support in a newer version if you use a different player. Don't expect RealPlayer to support it anytime soon.

Unfortunately we don't have a website or schedule to show you quite yet, I kinda dropped the ball getting ETN3's webspace setup so we're rushing to have something online for the launch, but can tell you that several shows are moving from Trance & Progressive channels over to ETN3, as well as a host of new artists. Some of your favorite shows might also make a move, and other shows on the other channels might shuffle, so make sure you keep an eye on the calendar! (*note: did you know you can see the schedule on the website in your own local timezone? use the drop-down box in the left navigation bar to select your timezone based on your GMT offset and you'll see the schedule in your own local times!)
Rest assured that as soon as we have a schedule online and I can post you specifics, we will!

Currently Chris, Peter2407 and Jesse from mix es.dj and Sunday Soundscapes fame, as well as Petrogad from the USA are heading up ETN3.
