Why bother with him? He's a complete idiot, and I doubt he'd appreciate pre-anthemic trance if he considers Sail to be the pinnacle of human civilisation.

Gotta love the predicitibility of Armin's fanboys.

Sail is an utterly crap tune, stealing every epic trance cliche from the 'Glory Years' and adding nothing new whatsoever, from the opening boop boop boop boop melody right to the BWAAAWRRMPTH BWAAAWRRMPTH BWAAAWRRMPTH BWAAAWRRMPTH!!! climax.

yeah I agree. Sail is a horrible tune and Armin is once again whoreing that screamy shitty sound which he also used in Serenity.

The only thing funny about that is that it has fuck all to do with anything.

Nice try, though.

what makes you think that was a joke? You need to pull your head out of your ass and look at yourself before you call someone else's form of expression "shit".

Did I say it was a joke? I said it has fuck all to do with anything.

Good thing you pulled out the "you can't comment unless you do it better" card, though, because we all know how valid that argument is.

Fuck off.

Without reading the whole thread:

It`s not trance that is dead, but that you are simply stuck in 1999 and didn`t move on while the rest of the world and music did.

So many styles and atrists out there - if you can`t find anything among this, then you simply don`t like trance anymore.

Don`t worry about it - it happens to a lot of people who only stay connected with the scene for a few years and then move back to pop/rock/Indy whatever they came from. Only very few people saty with this music for a long period.

EDIT: PS: If the word "dead" was searchable on TA (four letters...) you`d find a thread like yours every two weeks since years...

I've had moments like that too, although now I just explore and enjoy other kinds of genres of all types of music, not just dance. But yeah, in a way, I still prefer the old trance to the new.
