Where are all the people who were up front dancing and jumping around with me, like nuts, how come none of them post here??? All I knopw is everywhere I looked everyone was having a good time, maybe all the vetran TA's are getting a liitle sick of the scene, but us newbies, seem to love the outdoor experience, with the energetic crowds. Maybe this is like when I was into rock, all anyone ever said is Greenday is a sellout and Offspring sucks, blah, blah, blah, but evreytime I went to their concerts I had a really good time. Im not an expert by any means, I can't name tracks, comment on equipment,Im not a producer/DJ or even have the right to talk about ones mixing, I just appreciate the energy and happiness that comes from this scene. I like the fact that trance is still underground here is the USA and we in this little community support each others nedeavors, whether its promoting or DJing. The older folk, like me, enjoy the outdoor events because obviously indoors is way too crowded. I guess if ignorance is bliss, that explains why Im the one to always cheer on ultra and made, because overall they do a fine job, and the way i measure that is by the amount of tickets sold year after year, and the fans that always come back for more!

i can't believe you would try to defend that? oh well everybody just loves stuff and won't see things any other way i guess. you sir, are an idiot.

Vinyl warps.
Needles expire.
CD's scratch.
Guitar strings snap.
Sax reeds crack.
Drum heads break.
Computers crap out.

As musicians, you best be able to handle some sort of fuck-up, it's a tool of a trade. If your a guitarist and you blow your amp; were you relying to heavily on it??

I was up there bouncin' around with you; but usually I'm too busy dancing and don't have the energy for posting. It's just slow at work today

Was it me; but I kinda got the impression (esp. Friday) that people weren't really there to have a good time. It's like as soon as they got there, they got out their note pad and little red pen and began searching for things to nit-pick and complain about. I didn't feel that tension as strongly on Saturday. Just expect it to be what it is; if all someone is gonna do is complain about something why bother spending your money on a ticket?? Gheeessshh!

+1 I feel the same way, im not older, quite young actually but i feel exactly the same way, and i was right up front dancing my brains out.. the only time i had to sit down was when i really had no choice cuz of my bad knee, i enjoyed every minute except the waiting in the heat.. but once the music came i had "the time of my life"

hehe I know, that happens entirely too much on this forum...people need to just lighten up and, if they find themselves complaining about every party, then its time to realize that maybe this is no longer the scene for them....

Some people who complained about PVD in this thread are at Love/Sullivan Room/Cielo several times a month listening to kick-ass deep dark funky get-down shit. Not "Time of our Lives" If they complain about a party, I trust their judgment.

On the other hand, you're right about one thing: they should get out of THAT scene. The PVD scene. I am such a biased person, sorry.

^^ That was exactly what I was saying...I didn't think that PVD was that great, but I am happy with 99% of the trance events I go to....I was referring to the one's who go to EVERY event and have a list of complaints everytime. Doesn't make sense.

Who in this thread goes to EVERY event and constantly has a list of complaints? If anything, a lot of the complaints were from people who I rarely see post on here.
