So stupid from his side! For such cases there is audio editors software like Sound Forge for example, like i always use, where you can record even a few days in a row without any limitations. Anyway he should use some editor in studio so could use it in that recording

Oh yeah? I must look into that. I know form personal experience Ableton is a real pain with that restriction (if you make a set longer than 3 hours you have to split the file into two and render each part).

The main priority however would be being able to record multiple unputs simultaneously.

is there a cue sheet? like, could someone edit the tracklist with minutes between each tracks are being played. would appreciate a lot.
