I've managed to acquire the original theatrical cuts of the first three films, untouched by all the CGI bullshit, and have been leisurely re-watching them with an accompanying jazz cigarette. I can't describe how good it feels to watch the original films as I remember them from childhood.

The very same.
Though familiar with them, I must confess I've never taken the time to go through the motions necessary to acquire them. I keep hoping that, someday, the alleged/rumored Technicolor IB prints that Lucas supposedly has of all the originals will get at least a proper 4K scan and released on UHD Blu-ray and regular Blu-ray.

They're a pain in the arse to get hold of, but 100% worth it. It's not just nostalgia either. Seeing the films without them being artificially embellished with modern SFX makes you appreciate how much detail went into the original sets, costumes, matt paintings, miniatures etc. Hence the wealth of stuff in this thread.
