yup yup.. those bouncers were spewing bullshit... I got there at 12:30 thinking, "yeah, alright i have a ticket and PvD goes on in an hour and a half, i'll be fine."
That didn't happen. They had the fire department there because there had just been that fire in a club on long island with those morons who used pyrotechnics during their show. So, of course because we live in a land that's obsessed with sensationalism and the idea of "what just went wrong will go wrong again", they decided to close the doors when the place was "too full". So the bouncers get on the police mics and tell people they won't be letting anyone in anymore that night. There were literally 500 people waiting outside, probably half of them ticketholders. So the bouncers kept harassing us but the people who stayed around until about 4 did manage to get inside... and the place wasn't even that packed...
Made's been good since then though. When PvD came back in April they had seperate lines for tickets/will call and regular people.
