i do agree with ABT but at the same time i see the point that Taub is making. I mean i dont think that the american deffense is all that great. Look They hi-jacked a plane with frigging knives and boxcutters for gods sakes. What the hell kind of joke is that. And look what they did.. i would have taken a stab to save others lives. But that doesnt make sense .. there had to have been more weapons than that. I think at this point in time there shouldnt be any assumptions made as to who is responsible for this. It could quite possible be bin laden.. or what ever his name is. But at the same time it could be someone else as well. Its only hrs after the inncident and alot of investigation is needed to get the exact facts.

The US acts as such a superpower thinking they are the big shots, so they go into the middle east and try to control things but it wont work....they us put sancation on Iraq and countries taht help iraq and so the US became an enemy for these people....thats why they celebrated...they saws their enemy in pain

I see why they would celebrate but celebrating such a thing is extremely terrible. Even if I hated another country and something similar happened to it, it's still thousands of innocent lives being taken regardless...something that never should be celebrated.

the u.s. is looked at as a superpower thats why many times countries come to us for aid in certain situations. maybe our government needs to stop looking out for others and start watching our own back. and taub it could have been the chinese or the russians but let me put it this way say your car was stolen who do you look at first the kid who goes to harvard or the thug who you know has a prior crimminal record.

sorry, but i dont really get that harvard comparison. newayz, it SHOULDnt be china or russia because of the fact that they lack intent. so what if they lost several fighter pilots (they probably suck anyway, craching into a big us plane), or are POed about a missile defense system. Plestine could have some intent, for israel uses american weapons (ie F-15s) against them, and we all know that osama bin laden isnt quite happy wit the usa. and someone posted something about the US watching their back....that person is 150% correct.,

i meant that if you looked at two people from diffrent lifestyles the thug with a crimminal conviction and the harvard student most people would jump to the conclusion that the thuged out kid stole your car when in fact it could be the student who did it

....there are endless possibilities on who could have done this...not jus bin laden, yes bin laden hates the US and yes he has the money...but its just wrong to beat up arabs/muslims/pakis/indians who live around you...they had nothing to do with it
