My review:

Wow I have some awesome friends! My night started out in London at my friend’s house at 6:30pm where a Ford SUV Limo picked us up. Thanks to all my friends and Jon for arranging this for us. After partying like crazy in the Limo and driving to pick up a few friends, we finally arrived at the Guv at 11:00pm. All 11 of us piled out and had no problem getting in. Which I had been telling all my friends it wouldn’t be busy yet, but know one believed me.

Mark Oliver was doing a great job as normal warming the crowd up. At Around 12:00 – 12:30 I heard someone on the mic saying Marco V was coming on soon. I was out smoke so I didn’t make out the rest of what he said. A few of my friends told me once I came in from my smoke that someone wished me a Happy Birthday. I know there were a few other TA’s birthdays celebrated that night so I am sure it wasn’t for me, but I was glowing once my friends told me it was for me. Well let me have my glory if it was for someone else.

Does anyone know the name they announced? Mine is Tommy!

Marco V played some awesome tunes!
I can’t believe some of the tracks he played, but I do believe he was a little off Saturday night.

Now I was pretty damn messy so I didn’t really remember hearing any bad mixes. I remember there being technical issues, there were a few speakers cutting out a few times.
Correct me if I am wrong but I remember that happening during ‘Hammer & Bennett – Language (Santiago Nino Tech Mix)’ that’s the only time I remember problems.

Marco V had a different style then the Marco V I have seen before.

I would agree with anyone that, that was one of the best parties this year for a few reasons such as: the music, people, vibe, and the club not being super packed for once (all because of exams).

All in all I had one of the best Birthdays ever and I want to thank all my friend for making this happen… and all the TA’s I met, and if u see me next time don’t be shy say hi. I only stop dancing for a short period at a time though. I am bad with names so I am not going to try to mention some (plus it was my birthday so I was messy).

My final thought (Jerry Springer…. lol):

Marco V play the best set in July…. And all u people thought I was crazy to get my friend to pick me up from WEMF and to go all the way back to Guv for Marco V. HAHAHA!!! I hadn’t slept that whole weekend and I came running into the park at 7:30 am to WEMF with a huge smile on my face and ready to go still. But just as I arrived the music stopped….. oh well

MARCO V RULZ…. He will return to Toronto and rip the roof of the Guv again!

shit i totally forgot about the speakers cutting out hahah... that was really fuckin wierd when it happened... i've never heard that before in guv.. wonder what was goin on.
