Im in sydney, and there are few places where real trance is played, as far as i know anyway. the type of trance i hear at clubs is hard trance, like the stuff alphazone plays. i dont think real trance ever caught on in sydney.

make sure u check out Kyau vs Albert and Christopher Lawrence at TT experience mate 'real' trance at its best!

OK cool, well those guys putting on these parties, asking the question as to why isnt "the trance scene in melbourne great" should have a look at what they can improve.... Venue? DJs? Promotion / Marketting? I believe someone already mentioned a roof top party that kicked fucking ass... If there was a great view like the beach etc it probably would have been even better. As for what it used to be like - RedHeads, Chasers, Viper, Chevron, Dome, Mansion, Warehouse, Qbar, even Heat ffs... used to all play Trance regularly... Those days are gone mangz, but that doesnt necessarily mean its a bad thing... It means you have more "control" over the Trance scene In Melbourne

totally agree with you onion on that one.. its like paulie says too.. who gives a shit about the music when the vibe is awesome.

listening to your sample, man really solid.. a little bit bass heavy especially on the kick but the elements are really well done. im sure you could write a melody for it mate.
