well Sweden havnt won the Olympics in hockey since 94 , and think of this, the canadians have more licensed women players then we got men playing, we only have 9 million citiesens but still we are domination such is soo many sports....and DONT come here and talk about Canada/World Cups, thats just fucked up cup, made by the canadiens, for the canadiens and its played so the canadiens will win...
see 3 europeans and 2 canadiens
this is some stats to prove the we rock
ah but who can forget the season 2002-03 with the good childhood mates were 1 and 2 after the season
but thing is that you guys always think your the best, yeah your teames and players are always good but sometimes you really need to play your best to win |
You're just whining about the Canada and World Cups because you never came close to winning any. Nobody touched Canadian playeres in the 70s and 80s, except the Russians ONCE in 1981.
Two Canadians, one Czech, one Swede and one Russian to be exact on that top 5. Why don't you look at the top 30 or 50 instead and let's see how many Canadians are on there.
And as good as some Europeans are, for example, Dominik Hasek or Forsberg...how many cups have thhet won? One and Two respectively and Hasket had to be planted in an already amazing team in 02 to get his Cup and Forsberg is always hurt. How many has Naslund won? None. Don't get me wrong, these are all great players and I'd take them on the Montreal Canadiens for sure. Also Canadian goalies like Patrik Roy and Martin Brodeur nearly single handedly won 4 and 3 Cups for their teams. How many times has a European been voted as the Conn Smythe winner in the 25 years or so since Europeans started playing in the NHL? How many times the Hart Trophy? Not so many if you care to look it up.
