The digital revolution of the last decade has unleashed creativity and talent of people in an unprecedented way, unleashing unlimited creative opportunities. But does democratized culture mean better art, film, music and literature or is true talent instead flooded and drowned in the vast digital ocean of mass culture? Is it cultural democracy or mediocrity? This is the question addressed by PressPausePlay, a documentary film containing interviews with some of the world's most influential creators of the digital era.

Watched The Greatest Movie Ever Sold. Was pretty disappointed. I don't think I learnt anything, and I felt like it was trying to achieve a certain level of shock that it never reached.

On the other hand I really enjoyed the docu Helvetica. It definitely changed opened my mind to the way typography and culture relate to one another.

Dno if it's been said before, but I thoroughly enjoyed "Bill Cunningham: New York" even as I'm not into fashion that much. Good movie, would recommend.

anyone interested in environmental docs you should watch these two.

I learned about the concept of "peak oil" from these docs and i'm sure we'll be hearing it about it in years to come.

watched this on Rogers on Demand this week... if you're into journalism or media this is a must see...

(also it's full of swearing and hilarious battles, which makes it very entertaining as well) lol
