Show me a lack of objectivity. Show me the sentence that says "This is good because I like jazz piano and this has plenty of it". Show me anything where my personal tastes and opinions are evident in the text. Why don't you back your words up with something for once?

The Music Tickles My Ears

It's pointless to argue over it. It's obviously a love it or hate it album and those are the ones that evoke so much arguement.

I've only listened once and just didn't get it. Whatever conclusion you end up coming to, it's really an album you have to give a few listens to before you can create a good opinion. It's interesting at least, it goes all over the place musically but you really have to wonder if thats smart of a musician to do, it can be if it's done right but it's definetly not easy to do.

I just didn't get all the transitions into different sounds, I guess they didn't really "flow" for me. The other problem is that I couldn't help but have expectations of what I was about to hear since I've listened to so much of BT's work. It's so different from that you have to forget all of his other work and focus on this new piece.

That glitchy effect (dunno what its called, sorry not a producer) is wayyy over-used. It's good on some parts but becomes repetitive and doesn't really add much to the music.

I guess I have to give it a few more listens and try to figure what the hell is going on with it because at this point it seems with deeper thought I could be overlooking a serious piece of art or on the other hand, a serious piece of shit...I'm just hoping I find the former.

First listened to it last night - I love it. But I love this style of music.

Sounds like Mike Oldfield blended with Eno & Vangelis with BT's trademark production tricks.

It has musical variety and great melody which isn't disguised by the technology and effects used.

Great work.

I personally love this album and couldn't care less if anyone else doesn't.

But first of all, this wasn't even expected to be a "hit" among the fans of BT's more "mainstream" productions.. they will get their share of new BT when he puts out the other, dance floor oriented artist album within the year.

I really like this one.

1.618, Antikythera Mechanism, 'Human and Good Morning Kaia are all superb, with Dynamic Symmetry not far behind.

I really like this release, I got it for free with my admission to see his show in Cambridge. Any remixes from this album yet?

I'm listening to it right now. I hanve't been throught the entire cd yet, but it sounds heavily inspired by IDM/experimental electronic music. So it doesn't come across as incredibly original and new or whatever to me. Still pretty interesting though, perhaps I'll grow to like it after listening to it some more. It's definetly more interesting that his last piece of shit album.
