Nope im not would've definitly gone just for a laugh...I just checked his myspace he has 14,000 friends....and sort of a "dead page" considering that other DJs pages get a new comment a minute. Before I get wacked on myspace I was just using it as an example.

Also RJT your argument sounds more like you just fighting for your own problems in the EDM world mate...

I was reading back and you were talking about how Americans on the coast overlook the EDM scene past LA, Miami and NYC and such. I didnt really agree with that statement. I mean im sure alot of them dont take a look at it as it has nothing to do with it but we all know its there. Well atleast I know. I mean some of these American DJs are gods in middle america didnt Bad Boy Bill do his own huge festivals in Illinois or Colorado or some shit?

Perfect example. Even people in the aforementioned cities seem to have trouble distinguishing particular scenes anywhere else in the country. It's all just lumped together.

How is that a perfect example? I remember seeing 2 events on his DVD one outside of Chicago and the other in Red Rocks which I believe is in CO.

Also I would like to see how you judged the scene in NYC or LA its quite hard to judge other cities scenes if you dont live there. Im not trying to do this Im just trying to get a grasp on how popular these guys are out of my area.

Nobodies judging the scene in NYC or LA, the point is how little people from the rest of the world recognize just how much influence cities like Chicago and Detroit have had on EDM.

I don't judge the scene anywhere that I haven't been, but I acknowledge that these separate scenes exist and, through information from people who have both lived in and visited said cities, can make an intelligent assumption as to the popularites of particular genres and venues in these cities.

For me personally both those cities have had a huge impact they even have there own sub genres. Detroit Techno and Chicago House. I know that Detroit hosts a sick techno festival and Chicago brings some unique thumping house to the table. I think most EDM fans would reconginze that...

+1
It really is amazing to see the Europeans complaining about the Americans' influence in this poll when most of the music started here.
