Yeah people on this site only bother to post if they're insulting something, its like the complete opposite of 'if you havent got anything nice to say dont say anything at all' - You make an appreciation thread and it will reach 2, maybe 3 pages tops, but a thread for pointless bitching will be well over 100 pages long and last years.

I guess there are probably a total of two options for people who read these forums and see "nothing but negativity":

A. Stop listening to bad music.

or

2. Read more threads than you do.

Honestly - there's plenty of "positivity" on here, people just ignore it because it either isn't as entertaining or it doesn't serve their "You're raining on my groceries!" mad-guy agenda.
