so the reason why i haven't posted a word since the event is because i'd already said everything i had to say about the event prior to it happening. but since my review's in such high demand here i goooooo!!!
got there at 1130pm, walked in just as cesar was starting to (expectedly) tear things up. quite frankly, he rocked it. nice mix of tech and prog, really a shame that he finished somewhere along the lines of 130am...
cedric came on, and gave an unexpectedly decent performance; nothing amazing, just some decent tunes...he went cheesy for like 25% of his set, the rest was good.
then david came on and it was absolutely horrid, that's really all i can say. i was the ONLY fucking person in there who didn't know the lyrics to whatever garbage he was playing. when he'd cut the music to have everyone sing along, i felt lost. he played the same track with the vocal "looooooooooove is goneeeeee" 2x in 25 minutes. it was more like a sing-along than a DJ set.
walked into the trance room 1x and saw ferry jesus-posing to a bunch of pilled out 16-30 year old skanks. i didn't see one good looking face at this event. ass was all over the place, sure. but not one decent female face.
i left at 430am cuz i was actually getting mad and my pot supply was running low. booze wasn't helping anything at this point.
felt bad for anyone in that insane line-up. at 430am when we left, there were still a solid 2500 ppl waiting to get in.
can't say much about organization (lineups, coat check, whatever) cuz i was treated like a princess, always nice people around me, chatting and just a nice vibe so thank you BeB for that...but still, by far, the absolute worst EDM event i have ever been to (musically speaking)...

An injection of music into attitude and occasion which creates an emotional wave forth that isolates globally, a ringing harmonic, a signal to a like-minded collective that 'we are only us'.
