Carrier roms are the worst though. So I am sure it is slow because of that. When a custom rom becomes available, things will change.

not true. If you get an iphone through best buy you can get their black tie insurance. You can aruge that this does not count since you would not pay directly to verizon, but verizon uses a 3-party insurance company...as do all carriers.

Anyone have any experience with the Samsung i7500? I'm in for a new phone in a couple of months and this thing looks mighty fine:
I started reading some things about Android and from what I've read so far, it's pretty neat

Best Buy carrying it is a new thing though. Up until that, there was no insurance you could get on the iPhone.

Oh my next phone is def a WinMo device. For years ive been enjoying classic games from the 8 and 16 bit eras on my mobile. Its time to go next gen now. Yes, im a geek one of the main criteria for choosing my next phone is which games it will run...and well, with a choice of the entire PSX library...things are looking up.
Still needs to be QWERTY though, touch controls are fine, but i would rather just use the actual keys....so Touch pro 2 (or 3, depending on when i change phones) here i come.

Than that's my nest phone. Even though ive started to accept android devices and even looked into developing for the platform...hell if theres a full speed psx emulator that runs on winmo devices...thats who im selling my soul to.
I mean playing final fantasy 1-6 on your mobile is fun, but playing ff 7-9 on a mobile is just awesome

Well im not in any kind of rush, my E71 is still serving me fine, though it does feel a bit underpowered now that the E72 is out. Just hoping that the people at HTC continoue doing excellent work.
Oh and since ill be selling my sould to HTC, im hoping that the people at MS get off their lazy asses and do some work on WinMo7.

Ive seen those pics, not really much one can tell fom them. Im hoping that since its taking so long they'll actually come up with something really good. Learn from the iphone and android and make somehing thats really easy to use, and not so frustrating that you want to claw your eyes out when you go beyong the manufactuer frontend.
