lievez, it was good but only the first three tracks was 'oldschool hardcore breakbeat' the rest was jungle. i did however enjoy it but it wasn't really as fun like the genre generally is.

basd, great mix, you had a good direction and it was flowing nicely. i think the only thing i had issues with that you brought in that klute track way to hard into gorecki. other than that, well done.

ow

i tried my best tough... but it's kinda hard if it isn't a "real" genre, it's rather a time based genre

but i really enjoyed making it

Here is my Indie Dance / Nu Disco mix.

I hope I get some listens this time. I think I got one listen last time, but maybe people don't like Acid Trance?

Anyway, mixing is pretty loose in this one and I am not too sure about some of the transitions, but overall I'm somewhat satisfied. Went for a more relaxed vibe here. This is at 100 bpm.

Anyway comments are most certainly welcome.

enydo, i liked your mix but there was some issues. first of all, you played a peak track like 'change' way to early and then you killed the vibe off completely with the next one and drifted off. it noodled around a bit and then it picked up itself again but way to late, but damage was done already. all i kept thinking was what the hell happened?

however, tunes was good though, the issue was how the tracks was executed really.

Yep, I knew it was not even close to being "complete" I just wouldn't have the time this week to tweak out a proper tracklist so I just finished it as quickly as possible. A rush job no doubt, I'm not pleased with it at all after a couple listens.

I was having a lot of trouble mixing this stuff for some reason, not even sure why it was just really hard for me to establish a consistent flow. I just don't think deep house is really my thing, if that makes any sense.

edit: also, wow Change is a peaktime track? I just really don't get deep house at all I guess, sorry about that.

Yeah, there were some transitions which I couldn't quite get right, this being one of them. Thanks for listening!

Cool Ziptnf - Da Bears

So I finished my Chicago/Detroit House set, I mostly stuck to labels like Strictly Rhythm, Dustraxx, and Bargrooves. House is an interesting style to mix, I had a whole bunch of fun with this set. Some of my transitions may be a tad dodgy but this is my first House set, so take it easy on me, huh?

My favorite tracks are Strings of Life, Love Me, The Underground, and Play On. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

Julien Jabre - Swimming Places
George Morel - Let's Groove
Soldiers of Twilight - Believe (Fred Everything Vocal Mix)
Soul Central ft Kathy Brown - Strings of Life (Stronger on my own)
Reel People ft. Angela Johnson - Can't Stop (Dennis F's Falling 4 U Mix)
Roy Rox & Daniel Bovie ft. Nelson - Love Me
Logic of Sound - Expand Your Mind
Jake Childs - The Underground (Inland Knights Remix)
Todd Terry ft. Tara McDonald - Play On (Eddie Thoneick Remix)

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

P.S. I will try to review some of the other mixes in this thread next week.
