I don't think it's entirely their fault, they probably just didn' expect NYC to be throwing an epic huge EDM festival the same weekend... I'm sure if ZOO was not happening the LOL line up would be much more exciting... Those guys from ZOO just got the upperhand with the big name bookings for that weekend.

Guvernment has never been known for having a progressive / cutting edge musical policy (if anything prob the opposite) and that wont ever change. They did used to book some decent djs for Summers End / LoL's though.

Dave Clarke, Timo Maas and DJ Sneak headlined the last Summers End party. Luke Fair, Howells and Deep Dish in the Kool Haus (2002). Followed by Sasha, Zabiela and Fair (2003). Followed by Fanciulli, Kleinenberg and Deep Dish (2004). In terms of music most of those names are pretty irrelevant now but back then that was not the case. Definitely nowhere near as cheesey as the likes of Benassi, Guetta, etc ...

Considering all the crazy talent that will be so freakin close in New York for electric zoo, i consider this a massive fail.
