Actually, I'm aware of that. However, not unlike black hair is still black when the lighting influences our perception, an otherwise extroverted person may need to pipe down in a serious situation.
That's why, at least in Portuguese, we use to different sets of verbs in this case. A person can (essence)-be extroverted, yet she may (state)-be shy in a determined context. And the same goes to the hair.
