Yeah, of my immediate friend group, I'd guess maybe 1/3 of them are mutts with 1/16 Native American of some sort, 1/3 are mutts sans the Native American (eg one of my close mates has great-grandparents from 5 European countries and Japan), and 1/3 are "purebloods" from a small handful of countries.

I'm 4/8 Dutch, 3/8 German, and 1/8 Irish. I have no contact with the side of my family that the 1/8 Irish came from and it's such an insignificant amount that I really don't pay any attention to it. Just think of myself as American, Dutch, and German.
