It was just bad for Portugal to go out, it was evident the whole game in the fouls called and the type of fouls called.

I don't mind losing fair games but to lose of such a blatantly obvious bad call is horrible. England will never go far because nobody wants to see us win.

I agree Robinson should have been the starting goalie. I've been bitching about James the entire tourny. Man even the goalie on my national team is better than him.

this is EXACTLY the way we all felt where we watched the game. The linesman was just as baffled as the Portuguese and English players when that Swiss fuck called it back. Reffing in soccer is worse than the NHL, the worst officiated league in history. Absolutely disgusting. Football really needs to examine the diving in this sport...it is costing the integrity of the game.

Both Terry and Campbell are going for the FUCKING BALL!!! How can it be a foul when the goalie is NOT in position to get the ball, but two English players are??? The line must be drawn...goalies get away with far too much as it is. That goal should have stood. Just becuase the goalie jumps for the ball...does that mean the opposition has to get out of his way? There is no physicality in football anymore, thanks to all the diving bloody Europeans. They have ruined the good old English game.

UEFA rules dude, inside his box he is protected, he went for the ball but couldn't get there because Terry held him down.

I don't like it either because I wanted Portugal to go out, but it is a 100% foul

Terry did NOT hold him down...he was going up for the ball the same as Campbell was! Ricardo went up for the ball and knocked into Terry and that Swiss fuck calls a foul, even when the linesman pointed to the net for it to be a goal? Come on...pussy European crap is what it is. THIS is EXACTLY why Americans (and Canadians) laugh about soccer...I love it personally, but it is far too pussy. The old English game was far more phsycial, but once FIFA was formed...the death of real football began. I wish the Brits were running things...the game would have a lot more respect.

seems like holland will be kicking portugese ass in the half finals

great game, england shouldnt have defended for 90 mins, they only held on for 80 and i love it how the loosing team always blame everything else except them selves (including holland)

Now that I see those pics it seems like a good decision by the ref to disallow that goal.. Terry seems to push Ricardo down. I'd have to see it in motion from that angle to be sure though.

No fucking way good decision, here's what happened if you watch the replay and not some picture, doesn't give the story; Campbell & Terry were right under the ball & jumped for it, John Terry, being human, has these things called arms, that **** Ricardo knowing that he aint gonna outjump big Sol Campbell just wedges himself under Terrys arm, HE MOVED UNDER TERRY, TERRY DIDNT MOVE TO OBSTRUCT HIM FFS then he pathetically falls over, but I guess you'd expect nothing less.....It's turning into a pussies game I tell thee.
