i don't really see what the big issue is with the ticket price. tiesto has definitely reached "rockstar" status to be able to charge "rockstar" prices. so when you compare this to the average rock concert ticket price, it comes out to around the same (AND A LOT LESS in some cases, see: coldplay). yet you get to hear tiesto for much longer than you would depeche mode for example.
i've been going to a lot of rock concerts lately cause thats what most of my friends are into - and when i tell them i pay 20$ average to see a dj spin all night they get jealous.

SO MANY comments since I was last online are right on the money, but MILOS hit it right on the head!! Here's the kicker for me...
I absolutely love the Toronto Maple Leafs... and there have been times when I have questioned my mental stability after buying tickets, face value or scalped, just to watch them lose...
On average, a game runs me three or four bills, and while I do enjoy myself, it cannot be compared to the venue I will find myself at on Sunday... I know they are not related in any way, but all I'm saying is I would be willing to spend that kind of money in a heartbeat to see a master of their craft...
When I hit an awesome party for 20 bucks give or take, I count myself very lucky. IMO Tiesto is a MONSTER of his craft, and I will continue to pay whatever the predetermined rate is to see him...
BTW, WE are gonna RIP IT UP on SUNDAY!! I'll be on the lookout for the familar faces of the site, and can't wait to party with you coolio's!!
