I think I may regret posting this.
Mel, I'm pretty sure that your talkin' about Deadmau5 here, but IMO he went up against a negative opinion with witty, sarcastic banter that backfired and spun completely out of control.
It's not cool for anyone to trash people, and that goes BOTH WAYS But I kinda think that the trash talking stems from a genuine worry about what people think; not an attempt to look cool, but that's my guess. I've never met the guy personally so I can't really make an uber-valid judgement.
Mel, I know a lot of people who don't care for your boyfriend, stating that he has acted as you stated above to peoples faces (which I think is just as bad as on a message board.), and that you weren't much nicer. Now I have never met you but I have met your BF many times and I think he's a sweet kid! So I don't agree, as I have never had a bad experience. And I'm not going to let someone elses bad experience shape my own viewpoint.
My point is only this; DJ/Producers/Promoters are people too, and in that they are only human. We all have hearts, cranky days, sad days, fucked up out of our gourd days, and opinions, but when we voice opinions especially on others arts and endeavors, we should consider how we would want to be treated in that situation when we voice them.
PS (Mel, most of these are generalized comments, not addressed to you, critizing you, or instigating you in anyway; just an input to conversation! )

I was actually talking about how one sided that dudes comments were and pointing out that it was the same for BOTH sides.
hence why i re-wrote exactly what the dude wrote and just changed the name.
And me... a bitch?? Haha.. Haven't heard that one before. * i know u didn't directly call me one but I've been known as a bitch round these boards since my registered date* Yet still I have met a shitload of TA's who know the real me and whenever I go visiting new spots it's always a celebration when I'm in town!!rawr
That's right ppl. Internet is NOT real life and you will learn that when u become a member of this site. That goes for dj-gofukyourself to your average member. (and since i need to explain myself.. Dj - Gofukyourself is a rip off of Ginny the guido.. not meant for Eco and/or Deadmau5)
Ppl have trashed my boyfriend from waaay back in the days [he doesn't post much anymore].. They trashed Dave Dresden and it became the fad of 2004 or 2005.. Then it was Steve Angello... which was just as funny.. Then it was Markus.. the list goes on and on.
I love TA because of this stuff . Anjunabeats is for the hippies.
