friday night was an awesome night!! i got there near the tail end of taj and dirty's set and i thought it was great. they setup CL really well. the first or second track CL opened with that had that break beat really got my attention. I agree that his set was a little unstructured but i thought he really touched on a lot of great sounds and i really enjoyed it. once J00F came on it was on, i knew he would totally kill it which he did. i kinda expected to hear some of the usual tracks but was really glad that he played a lot of stuff i don't typically hear on his shows or previous sets. luckily the sound wasn't over cranked like it sometimes is at RS. it was great meeting you gypsygirl and i had lots of fun hanging out with the TA's as usual!

i'm not sure about appreciation, but heard that his sets in SF are better than in LA. This is the reason why i flew to San Francisco to see Armin last saturday. I had an amazing night.

I must say I was impressed by the sound, especially after hearing about how sometimes it gets cranked WAY too loud. I was comfortable the whole time out on the dance floor and never really got that naucious(sp?) that can accompany a way-too-loud sound system.
