Same goes for you, although thyroid cancer is not that bad, it's the one with the most chances to survive, and with the least chances to develop. A classic chemotherapy is not necessary in most cases too. What is called chemotherapy for the thyroid cancer is a radioactive iodine treatment, which implies no sickness, no nausea, no diarrhea, no pain. I can even add that a simple surgery can be sufficient 70% of the time.
So, don't worry that much! There is always a hope!
