honestly I think all of you guys should go together and demand a refund back, the more of you go together, the more intimidated and better chances of getting your money back. He should not sell tickets for events if he's going to do stuff like this, I tried talking to him about it and he tells me why do I care and that it is not any of my business. I told him I care because if the same thing happened to me I would expect a full refund back too. Some people are really fucking cheap.

I then called one of the promoters to speak with this guy, and he proceeded with telling them that I'm "causing a scene" in front of his customers (2 school kids taking pictures of the equipment in the store, lol)
Haha, asshole. Did you respond in the loudest voice possible with something to the effect of "You're damn right I'm making a fucking scene, what's the matter, you don't want anybody else finding out about your little scam?"
It's not like this douche is losing money. He doesn't have to repackage and restock it. Just take the ticket, rip it up, and fork over the $50. If he already spent it on blow or something then that's just too bad, find a way to cough it up.

funny enough as I was coming in a guy stormed out nearly knocking me down - I bet $20 he was furious over the same matter as I was

If you buy a ticket from an online company (wantickets, ticketmaster, etc.) and the event is cancelled (Lawler on NYE in Liberty Village) you do not get the service fees back. While I think its bad business for this guy, it is the norm.

that's fine
however other stores are refunding the full amount (PDR for example)

I said I don't think its good for business, in fact I think its very short sighted on the stores part. Ticketmaster and Wantickets have a different business model and can get away with this pratice easily since its mostly internet based and pretty much a monopoly.

while it sucks that he's trying to keep the service fee's, i never would have thought that any outlet would have refunded the service. big ups to the ones that do!
One thing I take issue with, is this dude adding $10-30 on top of the ticket price, and him refusing refunds because he paid us in advance for the tickets, when in fact that was not the case and we'd not picked up a single dime from any outlet.
