I agree with your long commune post above, especially as far as it pertains to the industrial destruction of the planet, im just not sure what relevance that has to eating animals, nom nom nom. I mean, im sure there are a multitude of foodstuffs produced on a mass scale that contributes to the destruction of the earth (see clear felling for agriculture and the by-product, soil erosion) so im not sure that nom nom nom-ing on MooMoos is qualitatively different in this regard.

I find this slightly self-defeating as morality is at the behest of justification, not the other way around. People refrain from doing things they find truly immoral unless under extraordinary circumstances - or they do them and realize that morality is probably a sham.
Their ability to act morally may be a sham, but a lot of people are traitors to themselves, every single day. We're taught to compromise what we really believe in order to fit in and succeed in society, so it's no surprise that people do what benefits them, not what they believe to be right.

So we are not just eating meat because its good and we like it, were eating meat for no less of a reason than to save the planet! I mean is there a greater environmentalist cause than fighting global warming? Im actually upset with you for not doping your share in reducing the threats to the environment, forcing the rest of us to pick up your share of the work

u caught me before the edit but yeah - smart dogs has a chorizo style one that i want to try.
When I first moved in with my bf we ate like SHIT. I bought a george foreman and made burgers almost every fuking day. Ate nasty ass hot dogs too...
I know that when I have kids some day I will never let them eat a real hot dog. Not turkey, not Kosher not ANYTHING except for tofu dogs. That way they don't get used to a certain taste.

Turkey dogs and turkey sausage are absolutely disgusting compared to their vegetarian equivalents. So much spice, flavor, and texture. It's great, tons of cooking recipes with those. It's really easy to maintain a nice eating habit if you throw away all the bad shit in your refrigerator and start buying more healthy items on a regular basis.
Totally agree. You know what is also great stuff to eat - Chinese.
My boyfriend makes a rice noodle dish made in a curry + coconut sauce and with bits of tofu & rice cakes!

Rationalization, such an ugly thing.

Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.
