The love parade is definitly not going to happen this year. The final notice is in here now, although many parties are still going ahead...
A decision has been made at last and the Love Parade will not be staged in Berlin this year. The announcement has now killed off any last hopes. The Berlin senate and Loveparade GmbH were not able to make up for the lack of funds despite all the hard work and an intensive joint search for sponsors. Instead they are now working at full steam to organise a Love Parade for 2005.
Nevertheless immediately after the cancellation, the agency Machen & Tun, registered its own demonstration for 10 July to be held on the same route as the Love Parade (Strasse des 17. Juni). Under the slogan "Music against the sell-out of music", a stand is be taken against artist license cuts and an open and transparent music industry that protects artists and their work is being demanded.
Also, many of the parties planned for the Love Parade weekend are going ahead.

go the Back to the Roots demonstration....I'm actually a hell of a lot more excited about this than I was about the thought of a typically over-commercialised LP...I wouldn't wanna go to a carbon copy of last year's parade....at least this year will be somewhat unique now - whether or not that uniqueness will be a good or bad thing remains to be seen....but it'll be interesting at least

Yup....Ask Adian about it tho :P He had u TOTALLY freaked out...u checked the car 2x, searched the place...carly didn't have it...u were packing it...fear was in your eyes...u were saying some1 stole it.
