Arrests were made of people who were either driving a truck carrying explosives on the George Washington bridge (located in New York City) or it was under it I forget. It is unknown whether or not it had any connection to the other events.

I dunno where you heard this, but lets combine all the people that died in the planes (266) the policemen and firefighters(400+)the people in the pentagon and in the hospitals(15) and then all the people that died on the planes contact (thousands) and last..All the people that died in the towers collapsing (thousands more).
Not to mention all the by-standers that wanted to watch this stuff.

When something like this is going on, EVERYBODY panics. There are only enough elevators to use in the World Trade Center. The lobby was gone, demolidhed. And when you have to use the stairs from the 20th,50th,75th or 100th floor it doesnt take minutes. With all the smoke all the people and all the hearts racing, this takes hours.

This is bad. Darkest day in this nations history.

There was a man who was in the first WTC tower hit. Up on like floor 80, may have been higher. He along with other managed to get down a few floors using the stairs and then got trapped. They had to walk across the building to the other side for the other stairwell avoiding fire's on the floor. He made it out to the ground and as soon as he got out, the second plane hit the other WTC tower. So it took the guy roughly 30 minutes to make it down from the first tower hit. Others were stuck and hanging out the windows waving things. Some jumping from the top floors to there death. It is a complete catastrophy, and something that not only affects those at hand in the US, but the entire world. The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur have been evacuated due to threats just this morning (it's now 11:23PM -5GMT/EST).

people keep talking about how the person/people who did this are going to face punushment.. but what punishment is going to be greater than what has already been done. Theres nothing u can do to a person that will ever compare to this kinda of contastrophy. U can kill a person.. whats that going to do.. take one life away compred to the 1000+ lives that were taken?? beat them. poison them? the punishment talk is like a finger shake in the face. Its nothing its like a slap on the hand. they basically got away with this and will continue to do so until the US wakes up and realizes that our "few good men" need some retraining. Apparently our deffense system is not up to date. WE talk the talk but can we walk the walk? notice how we help out these little countries that get their asses kicked but the little countries that are doing the ass kickin are kickin our ass at the same time. Its like HHHEEELLLOOO??? they are basically saying (in my opinion) Keep ur nose where it belongs.. which is in the US. We are not what we say we are. We are not the one of the most powerful nations in the world. Look i think what happened today was a complete example of what i am saying. And as far as the government .. they hide so much shit from us .. they new about the 4 hi-jacked planes before this ever started .. they knew they were off course and as soon as something became suspicious they should have acted then. Not waited to see what was going to happen.. and then when something did happen.. they are shocked. What did they think was going to happen .. oh they just went of course... they'll get back on soon. PLEASE! I love my country America but i do believe that we have some growing up to do. Hopefully we can quit f***ing around, realize and start doing some learning/ growing.

I saw this one shit on the news about a guy on the 87th floor and how he made it out. He got down to the 86th floor because everyone else on the 87th was dead. So on his way down he looked for people. He found a lady in a wheelchair. He picked her up and strapped her to his back with some ties that were on the wheelchair. He climbed down 84 floors with a disabled woman in her wheelchair on his back.

Now that is a man with courage.

84 floors with a woman on his back.. that man deserves a metal honor. Ya i was listening to the news on the radio station and they had this man on there that had just gotten out of the WTC .. and on his way down the stairs he saw all the handycapped people sitting and waiting for the elevators not knowing that they werent working. And he was crying in tears because there was no way for him to help them and for him to get out at the same time. When i heard that i started to cry .. and i am not the one for crying either.
