some people need to learn how to read. I said that by only judging at the tracklist there seems to be no flow and if u say that u cant know that before u listen to it: ofcourse! How can i argue with that fact. But as i stated before in this thread this is why i dont even WANT to listen to it. The tracks are weak imo and there SEEMS to be no flow. Now thats my opinion. If u cant swollow that thats your problem, not mine.

ahhh, "SEEMS" is the key word, a word that WAS NOT on the statement I replied to....I guess some people need to learn how to writte

"dude are u fucking joking or what? I havent heard this cd and hell i wont listen to it ever but by just looking at the tracklist ( i almost know every tune from it) i can tell for 100% that there is no flow in this album (at least in some parts for sure). How he jumps from progressive to trance at times is and i cant imagine that it flows well"

After really enjoying the mix that PvD put together for Mixmag 05/05, he continues that style with TPOD2 release. The CDs flow nicely, the song selections are tracks that are somewhat simplistic in nature, and feel sophisticated. Many of the tracks are minimalistic, and subtle, and take a few listens before they start to reveal themselves. Overall, I'm really impressed, it's much better than I was hoping it would be. Will be listening to it a lot over the coming weeks.

You are correct that 05/05 and TPOD2 are not the same -- but they have a lot in common, in the general feel of the direction that PvD has been evolving his vision of Trance. He is continuing what he showed us with 05/05 -- but just in a way that leans more towards the mainstream.

What version of "Solange - Messages" did he use for TPOD2?

All it states is: "Additional Remix & Production by Paul van Dyk"

-

I have to say that "Giuseppe Ottaviani - Linking People" is my favorite track so far. The song is absolutely incredible. The first track on CD1 "Alex Gold - String Theory" is right behind it.
