OMFG I know exactly what you're talking about. I had abit of space in front of me that I was fully using for dancing in KH, and I see this one fat guy moving through, so I step back to let him pass, and he fucking stands right in front of me. I went down from having a good 3 feet around me of space to almost none! WTF, you bastard!
Anyway, review:
Got in at like 12:30 or so.
Mark Oliver (I think it was him) was opening up with a great set in the Guv. Upbeat House or Housey Trance or something. Whatever it was, I liked it a lot. Went to see Junkie XL at like 1:30 or something.
He was awesome. Hightlight of the night for me for suuuuuuure. Fucking sick mix of guitars and Trance. Coldplay - Talk was stuck in my head on the ride home. Liked his whole set, and stuck around till he closed.
Then Picotto opened with some high pitched noise. I thought maybe something was wrong technically - it was way too loud, and no way that noise could be what he wanted, right? So I gave him like 25 mins to get better. He didn't. More noise overlaid with a bassline. I left for Guv.
Yay for Second Sun. Saw them for the first time on Halloween, and they were great then, and were just as great now. Always awesome to hear them perform "Crush", as well as that last song they dropped to close - wtf was that, cause it was siiiiick. And the energy just overflows from these guys.
Heard Mark Oliver start up with another great set. This one was pure Trance, and sick Trance as well. At this point it was 4:15am and I was debating whether or not to stick around to hear B&J open, as I had work the following day. I'm glad I decided against it as they came on late (and their set looked a lot like the one they played at LOL, or at least worse).
I dunno what it was, but the vibe was just off for me in the Guv. Suddenly all the things that usually don't bother me started to really irritate me. The pushy people. The lack of space to move. The cracked out old Asians. The people smoking weed or cigs on the dancefloor. I wasn't enjoying Second Sun's set as much as I should have been.

Bah! So it was Starsearcher who was in front of me for the whole Junkie XL set. Feel kinda bad about not saying anything to you now - but I didn't want to have another one of those "Hey, are you a TA" "No, I'm on E" conversations.
