Whew.. My turn to weigh in. I'm surprised I waited this long. :P
I really don't know where to start - For those of you who know me, I don't make it out to a lot of events AT ALL, due to my distance, hectic goings-on, etc etc etc. There was some turbulence earlier in the night (before we even arrived), but that was quickly melted away in a good solid shitfacing at the Harbour Street Grille (or as Justin and I now call it, the Desert Oasis.. How the FUCK are there not more Bars in that district? Fuckin' Hell!).
Once I got there and managed to brush off an irritating run-in with a particular member of Guv Staff (no names needed), It was just incredible. I come out more for the people than I do the music. Seeing you all again really honestly left me feeling like a Kid in a Candy store!
Chris, Karen, Barry, Kelly (wholy SHIT was I glad to see you), Drew, Dannie (even though I don't think you knew who I was.. haha), Cribby (awesome to finally meet you), Mikey, Ron (shit, son.. You's tall!), Aaron, Martin, Tammy, Lowell (the birfdeh boy) & his Lovely Wife, Theresa (the Birfdeh girl), Yohan (dude, I hear you were trying to find me towards the end of the night - I'm so sorry we didn't see each other), Tyler, Shaya (Dude, your photos still floor me every time!), John (the man that makes it all happen.. Bless you for all your hard work and dedication), Tommy, Jody, John (starsearcher - fuckin' awesome to see you out!) Sasha (awesome to finally meet you!), Lyndsey (haha. Sand in my Shoes, 'nuff said  ),Nada (always awesome to see you out, your energy is unreal!), Cale & Lisa (I feel like a loser for grouping you two together, sorry.. I think a couple (k, maybe a lot) of people were surprised by the way that the Boys played. This is basically the sound of the new 'Above & Beyond'. There weren't as many classics being played but there were some STORMERS in there..

There was also a good heaping helping of new stuff in there that you and you alone have heard - I'm really glad to know that you all went nuts to some of this material and your enthusiasm will make a huge impact on the fate of this mystery stuff being playtested.
If I'm missing anyone, I'm deeply sorry - I was rather drunk (and James didn't make it any better towards the end of the night - those Vodka Cranberries finished me off) for a good portion of the evening. :P
I had a blast of a time, and you can't believe the fun they had playing for you - I think that was evident from all the jumping about and even resorting to climbing up on the platforms (rather dangerously, I might add.. haha). Each of the members and even their Manager have such fond words to say about Guvernment.. And I have no doubt in my mind that each and every one of you are to thank for the Energy, Enthusiasm, and overall personality you give to that place.
I think the keyword tonight is People. You made my night.. Hell. I think we all made each other's nights. God bless you all for just being so God Damned Awesome.
