do you not understand the concept of ignorance?

definition: Lacking education or knowledge.

no one who buys the track or sees it on a compilation would think it was Tiestos production unless they were ignorant to the trance scene and the concept of remixes.

no one who downloads the track illegaly under a mislabled name would think it was the track itself unless they didnt look into it and are ignorant to the ways of p2p programs.

in either case its ignorance.

Are they ingorant? Of course not.

Ok then. "To ignore" means something different though.

Back to the topic: People who just donīt know and even donīt care whatīs the track called (and still enjoy it) are stupid?

Talking

Maybe its my age (I actually used to go to the warehouses in London around 89, though even at that time they were already commercialized for the most part) but I feel that there are tracks that DONT get enough of a nod from all you 'young bucks'
To me there are certain seminal moments that pretty much led to the 'scene' we have today.
I remember all the press that 'rave' as it was known back then would be gone in six months and pretty much everyone even within the scene agreed as it was all just a fun way of doing something different and not to be taken to seriously.
'Musicians' and indeed the music media scoffed at 'rave' and said there was no talent there and hence the reason it would be gone in six months.

Well along came a track called Pacific State by 808 State which showed the mainstream music world that 'rave music' could be every bit as technically gifted as any music done on 'real instruments' which made the music world sit up and listen.

A year or two later along came a track called 'Papue New Guinea' by FSOL which not only said to the mainstream music world that we can be as technically gifted as you 'musicians' but that we can infact do it better than you!

This is my take on the development of 'dance music' and the sound we have today but to be honest I cant say that I know anyone who agrees with me but what the hell the world would be a very dull place if we all thought the same.

Mmmmm... Rank 1 with Awakening or Ferry's remixes of Barber's Adagio and Liberation?? All 1999...

Looks like Silence wasn't the mould.
