i think the suns are due for a finals appearance, barring any injury..they have talent(amare+marion), leadership(nash) and bench depth (james jones, kurt thomas, barbosa). the only thing they lack is D.

The last World Championship showed the real level of Germany (Dirk + Femerling + a bunch of 3-point shooters, say Roller, Demirel...).
The shooters were specially accurate in 2005 European Cup, and you played the final (and lost to a great team: Greece). They weren't that accurate in September (and Nowitzki wasn't 'super' at all), and Germany fell soon.
