that's a good point though. If you live in an edm bubble, then obviously Corsten, Tiesto, Armin, Guetta, Benassi, those guys are known by all your friends. But if you live outside that bubble, these guys, sorry to say, are not THAT mainstream (in North America, anyways). Various EDM tracks may be familiar to some, but not the artist.
Especially corsten and armin since none of their track are played @ clubs

well, you can have Guetta and Benassi tracks played at clubs too and they'd still be buried under the Madonna, Britney, 50 Cent stuff. Outside of our edm world, these ppl just ain't THAT popular.

I can understand with the age/clubbing thing.. when i was 19 the only dance music played at top40/hiphop clubs was uber euro dance and no house.. i was dancing to ian van dahl-castles in the sky, or dj sammy-heaven a few yrs later in hiphop bars lol .. they wouldnt ever drop something youd find produced by .. newbs considered anything fast and electronic trance:B
