I have a nice leather couch but it has instructions specifically saying not to use soap. besides there are other things like smell that leather can absorb or if you have guests over and they see a pubic hair. for the most part its a mental thing for me. i'm not trying to make a big deal of it. reminds me of the expression, don't shit where you eat.
