Haven't seen a sat night sell out(pre-sales) this fast, only competing fri night id say is dada life or skrillex.

^ this statement is inaccurate. pre sales are not sold out....they have just all been purchased via Avalon website. much like the Floyd Mayweather fight. plenty of tickets available, just not at face value.


so who waited an extra day to buy and wants to buy a ticket? $85.

Avalon only releases enough presales for half capacity, unless policy changed (too lazy to look). Just get there stupid early and by tix at the door.

just curious - how do you transfer your will call tix to other people? do you just ask wantickets and they do it?

When purchasing a will-call ticket, there's a box to show the name of a different person who will be picking up the tickets. I don't believe there's any way to reassign or transfer tickets after they have been purchased, aside from providing them with your ticket receipt, a copy of your driver's license, and the original credit card statement on which the ticket(s) were charged (see terms & conditions section).

From Wantickets FAQ:

If I am purchasing tickets for someone else can they pick them up, with my credit card?

You can fill in their name as the pickup. If you fill in their name as the pickup name, they will only need their photo id and receipt printout.Please note, you may be required to fax back a credit card authorization form as well as a photocopy of your credit card and id.
