well, i'm packing up my life in richmond which is making me rather reflective and kind of sad. i can't believe i'm finished with school and i can't believe i'm leaving and all that stuff. i certainly express my feelings clearly and eloquently, right? yeah, that's why i'm a writer.
anyway, it's sad and listening to a few sad songs here and there really isn't helping.
Here is a tissue for you friend daff.
You will be ok.
I promise.

yeah, i switched back to trance and i'm ok now. packing up some of my clothes has been hilarious. i have more sorority shirts than you can imagine, and the worst part is that i got rid of a bunch last year and haven't bought any in about a year.
also came across the tinkerbell costume, a giraffe print velour skirt from halloween freshman year, and a couple yards of tacky lame (the shiny stuff, accent over the e) fabric that i wore as a toga for a sorority shindig.
arturo, post a few pics! or the link. i want an update on the weekend!

Ugh...I don't want to go to work tomorrow, sigh.
Oh well, can't win them all can you?
I just hope I can put down Jurassic Park before i finish the whole thing and end up being up all night, lol.
I think my next batch of books to re-read/read is going to be Crichton stuff. He does write a damn fine story that is both intellectually stimulating and good narrative.
I want to take this moment to thank you all for not making fun of my hairdo in the last picture I posted

I didnt know you were reading JP! its a great book, much better than the movie IMO, coz theres a lot more depth.. Same with the Lost World. Good book but the movie was so-so
I agree Crichton is a very Prolific writer, Rising Sun, The Andromeda Strain, Eaters of The Dead, and Sphere are all great novels.
I'm currently reading another Robert McCammon novel now. McCammon is one of my top 5 favourite novelists
hahaah ur hair looks funny in that picture

I went back and read the first couple pages of this thread. lol
i must admit i never really read much past the first page, because frankly i didnt have time to sift through the voluminous amount of posts.. but since i was bored tonite i decided to read the first couple pages.
i must say they're quite entertaining..especially orbax's drunk scribbling and the part about OverTheTop.
Mr S have u ever seen Over The Edge? its almost a cult film, tho i dont think too many people have seen it. its a hokey story line, but the music in it is bad ass.

my roommate just left the one i share a bedroom with. so we had to say our real goodbye because when she comes back to school in january, i obviously won't be here. the funny thing is she's visiting me in new york before she comes back to school. being a bit dramatic. now i have nothing to do because my other two roommates have tests tomorrow.
i started doing interviews for my final story (due tomorrow. yeah, i know.) and can't get in touch with the people i need. looks like i'll be pulling the flu card on this one!

good work mebot, i'm proud!
i found an old mix cd that has all this music from high school on it. might be one of the best cds i've ever made. bunch of chill third eye blind songs (i adore 3eb), glycerine, some barenaked ladies. i'm dying just listening to it. so good to hear 3eb again, i miss those cds... i might even have to buy them again.
