"sin" meaning pre marital sex with my boyfriend, white lies, smoke pot...the usual. i'm not a bad person though, just a product of society like all of us. i try to rise above most of the every day sins that people do unconciously, like greed, resentment, envy...all of those every day feelings are considered a sin. like to me, a guy who is rich enough to buy a small country, yet keeps buying porsches, is a sin. you gotta do your part somehow. |
Bah, smoking pot isnt a moral issue. Only if because of it you start not going to work, letting studies slip etc...
I drink, and I have a blast. I also have 4.0s and lots of money. I dont drive while under the influence. Its a good, healthy, fun part of my life. Ive smoked pot, was fun. Want to do more.
The Bible says to abide by the laws of man unless they conflict Gods Law. That could be the only possible justification for thinking its Sin, but I could probably weave a story using the Garden of Eden, plants and vegetarianism, Levitican Law, and an argument against "tests" and "trials" of faith to justify it. The biggest factor would be thinking its wrong and doing it anyway. Thats hard to get around. But if you do a careful self examination of your life and how its affecting you and can honestly think its benefitting your life, how could something positive be against the will of God? Thats unreasonable.
