i see delgado going to the o's. possibly the mets. i hope the mets can pull off a trade for sean casey or todd helton (that doesn't include jose reyes and the rest of our top prospects)

The key to the Cards getting a big name starting pitcher is how much money Renteria wants to re-sign!

They've said that if Renteria signs elsewhere, the Cardinals may get Cabrera.

The Sox have Hanley Ramirez in the minors probably ready for a Sept 2005 call up...

One thing I am nearly certain about, is that Red Sox will CERTAINLY not repeat as World Series champions next year. The Yankees will get their revenge, one way or another.

Now we're talking.

I'd like to see the yanks sign Beltran and also sign Tino Martinez. He's a true Yankee and still has some pop in the bat, plus he's clutch. I think Giambi will never be the player he was because of steroids. But what they really need is pitching. Goodbye Brown, possibly Lieber, though he's a great 5th rotation guy. El Duque...maybe in the bullpen. Vasquez has potential but he throws some stupid pitches under pressure, as seen in Game 7.

I don't see the Yankees payroll going TOO much higher. I think they'll focus on pitching and see where their payroll is after signing Milton and Pavano... or whoever they get.
