FIRST OFFICIAL POST!

haha using my bran spanking new acc.! ooo it shines how it shines.
haha
OHKAY so if u met me last night, My name is WAYNE. Ive yet to find myself in a pic.... however i KNOW one of those camera dudes got one specifically of me and the girl i was with. You might remember her, short hair, really short, asian, super cute, told me she was from NYC. my name recalling memory is garbage for this i apologize.

AND WOW. WOW = LOL = still hurting. haha
started the night with MO - agreed sound quality was a bit mild. so i went to the back and started glowstringing with Yellow and Green for a bit, somehow when im actually in a club i just find it utterly boring. BUT u might have seen me a bit. i remember meeting one girl who watched me for a bit and i shook her hand after...or did i kiss it, oh man i forget that was near the beginning. MO played pretty much as i expected he would to set up for a pure trance lineup (minus greyarea who i can gladly say i missed.)

Than i ventured to the middle, where i met up with a REALLY tall guy who i think was his Bday? and i met some other TA'ers! you guys rock. A decent crowd makes a party good. A crowd of freinds makes a party fanfuckingtastic. Than with a new freind (he was asian, no recallection on name) we went over to the meeting at 12:00. met a few more people, uhh no names remembered... met a asian girl with fuckin sweet ass hair, was dressed for a rock concert, but her hair was sweet, wish i could do that, dont remember her name.

12:30 exchanged some party enhancers and went on a MISSION to see dig's. and what a mission it was. by the time i got there i really just wanted to leave it was so packed, but i went to the stage to se him. Spun some good music, kept me bouncin, wasnt makin me jump but was enjoying his pre-deep dish house set up, really wanted to hear his trance side thou...

Back to KH, entered as that lunatic of greyarea dove thru the crowd, i thought he was having a seasure. ventured around, met some more people, ran into some familiar faces, constantly threw out the phrase
"so...you TA?"
"Huh?"
"ahh... nvm then"
haha but more often than not, i hit up y'all and i loved it. Went to the back middle, where i met a girl named sarah, think she was..uhh, japanese? yeah cause i remember saying "Really??? coneecheewah!" haha as if i have any clue what that means. I lost track of her though after everyone crashed the stage to shake hands with umm i forget if it was B&J or marcus. But that was a disaster.

So then i listened to B&J, and have to say was pleasently suprised at how good they were. They remind me of a bit harder version of Corderoy. This would be around the time i met up with the second girl who i hang out with for the rest of the night.

And then we went to the front for Armin. Now before this i wasnt really a huge fan. I enjoyed his ASOT, but armin certainly wouldnt be on my top 5. I went to the front mostly cause of the girl, she was ecstatic. Any other occasion i would have been just as pleased back middle, or somewhere with space. Never-the-Less we got dead middle and began to feast. Armin started up a bit hard, which automatically threw me... but i liked it. Lately ive hit my roots of music dating back to the late late 90's early 00'01' sets.

Needless to say, i began my critiquing, front row centre, every song. and unlike everyone else who went ecstatic for every single breath armin took, i just watched, and bobbed my head at first. Armin took notice, he began to look at me more than often. Seeing how i was enjoying the music. I guess in a sense.. he knew that I wasnt gunna scream my head off for every song whether or not i liked it, just cause he spun it. But when greece 2000 came on... i went BEZERK! i've loved that song since GU7 oakenfold. And Armin saw me and just laughed, i mouthed to him "that was a good one" and gave him 2 thumbs up. he just laughed and staretd getting more industrial.

Not that i was craving industrial, harder music, but it certainly filled the void in varietys of music that i had been hearing, from the softer melodic trance (which i was expecting from him) to the housey beats in Guv, to the insane lyrical ranting of grey area, and the breakbeats/jungle in the orange room. So i started to dance harder, and frequently during song climaxes i could only find myself smiling the biggest GRIN of them all, only for armin to catch me smirking and give a laugh himself. I really thought it was fantastic the way he took time to sign and hand things out, i was really worried i wasnt gunna get anything, so i caught eyes with a bouncer and asked if to get something for the girl, which he did for me, what a great guy. those bouncers were amazing, espec. the guy on armins right. what a good guy. wanted to shake his hand but they left abruptly.

armins close was beautiful. i dont know how long its been since ive heard silence in a club, needless to say, one thats just blown me off my feet, turned my opinion of him around, made my entire night, CONNECTED with me (which was so fantastic) gave me the little prayer type thankyou, to ME aww yo, that was so ... SWEEt. i gave it back and he just smiled and mouthed thankyou. So near the end i mouthed to him "you did good, you did real good." and he modestly thanked me once again.

....what a dj....
....what a preformer....
....what a sensational night....

BUT DONT U HATE THE SUN!??!?! BUT DONT U HATE THE SUN!??!?!

ANYWHO, MY NAMES WAYNE, IM NEW. I HOPE I MET YOU LAST NIGHT.

we got there aroudn 11, some great tunes were being dropped by markus. he had a really good set and i liked it alot. grayarea...hmmm...dont know what they were doing there, but i left pretty quickly. went aroudn for that hour and heard a bit of everything. bit of jungle, a bit of digweed (which i liked) and then B & J. OMFG amazing set. they seriously stole the show. i put out all my energy on them and i barely had anythign left for armin. maybe 20 minutes into armins set, i was dead and i wasnt really feeling the vibe with the tracks for about 2 hours. the last 2 hours were pretty good and he dropped some good tunes.

first time at the KH for me and it was pretty nice. the back drop tiles were wicked and the place was HUGE. guv was rammed and could barely breathe when i was there but the cannon took care of that

i was pretty dissappointed by armin. i thought seeing him for the first time it would be something amazing/magical. o well, maybe next time.

and again...BLANK AND JONES STOLE THE SHOW for me. amazing set and i would love to see them back.

great to see everyone, as this will probably be my last party for awhile due to complications that arose after the party.

Came down from Montreal for this and man was I surprised! I had no idea how huge the guvernement complex was, WOW!

Anyways, we showed up at 11:30 only to witness the biggest line-up ever. It must have been at least a 2 hour wait. That's just nuts. Fortunately for us, my buddy's seeing a dancer at guv so we bypassed the line

We went straight to Kool House and saw Markus Schulz. This was the first time I've heard him live and I was pretty impressed. Good energy, some nice trance tunes, and an overall pretty solid dj.

Grayarea: These guys were awesome! Besides the overly loud/distorted sound, they were just mind-blowing. Hard bass-lines that just kept building and building combined with a bad-ass-attitude-feel really got me going. I have to see these guys if they come to Montreal.

B&J: I've heard them before and my opinion hasn't really changed. While they do play good trance, it lacks a certain "buildup" that good DJ's have. I find their music to be very predictable, very mechanical, but that's me. They were alright.

AVB: I've seen this guy 6 times now and each time he gets less trancy and more progressive. Someone else mentioned that trance should take you on a journey and I feel that Armin has lost some of that touch. I will never forget the set he dropped on October 13, 2003 at Aria....pure, non-stop, high energy TRANCE!!! Now it seems like he's getting softer and more progressive. Disapointing for Armin IMO.

Overall though it was a great night. A bit too crowded and hot, but with this kind of line-up, that's to be expected. Nice vibe, although I find it wierd seeing so many people dressed like they're going clubbing . It's a rave people! As per what was written on some guys' shirt, "Dance you f**kers"!

The Guv usually has a dress code for some rooms so I blame it on that . That and the candykid dress scene has kind of passed. Girls still are dressing very nicely though.

ARMIN is getting less trancy its true but I have to admitt he cant put just trance for the 4 hours and a half he was there, people like it harder these days and he plays what people like if he only played trance then and the songs he wants i dont think he d be as popular

BY THE way does anyone know the track from the movie thats available the first track that is I think its an armin song but not too sure

your brother is a damn fool for that one!

I can honestly say I wasnt up for this party at all....and I seriously almost stayed home...thank god I didn't.
This party truly was the last big party of the summer.

I called MissK and she was just on the DVP on the way to LOL and she turned around and picked me up..(as I was so tired from a day in wonderland and i seriously did not want to drive down by myself) Thanks Katie it meant a lot.

Got in the Guv with highroller while Demi was on and I was lovin' it. It put me in a great mindset and I knew the rest of the night was going to be killer.

And KILLER it was... I kept losing ppl all night and ended up with a different TA every hr. I was ALL OVER the place. EvERY damn room had sick beats going on ....I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!!

DeepDish killed it for me...I was going COMPLETELY INSANE those last 2 hrs in the GUV!! (highroller...no wonder your ass was never in thr skybar haha)

Blank & Jones and Digweed are TIED at second for me...my very first time seeing them live and I was not disappointed!

and very close in third is ARMIN...amazing trance...soo HOT in there but I was loving it

Met some very sweet TA's...and I can honestly say that I forgot your names and I pathetic for it

I finally got a TA shirt and wore it last night with pride. I was surprised at the ppl that did notice and comment. I realised TA really does haver a wickked reputation

Anyway..this party was a great way to end the summer. I will never forget it.

until next time,

"dance u ******s"
