lawler has either been the best or the best disappointment as far as parties go.
hope to involve ourselves more. boulder is a horrible place where people exercise and make money. thats why were moving to denver so katie can make money while i SAVE money and they some sort of awesomeness happens.
chad be nice to me, i know ive ignored the denver peeps, i am just terrified of vinyl. we really cant sort that out minus millions? vinyl is such a terribly run business its hard to claim we dont have the backing! like someone said, afternoon parties on the roof, why is anything that reqs money the last 30 mins of midnight with assholes everywhere| |
I still heart Vinyl - I like the dark, better sounding venue with the rooftop firepits. If there are assholes, I just swing the elbows and MAKE some space to dance.
Last time I saw Lawler in Jan in Toronto, it was a far better set than the recent ones I'd seen - he was back to being a little darker than the normal haus DJ. No tribal but good dark n dirty haus with a sprinkling of electro.
Any good recent sets of his? I need to listen to some......
