Most shocking thing for me is that with SO many people in that environment, not one security check. I could have brought anything I wanted in there.

see it just depends on what time you go - I actually thought my search was more profound than any other time i've been to Ultra. I was surprised at how prodded and rubbed down I was.
It was pretty funny on Saturday night when we left around 8pm, people were still pouring in so they didn't even have an exit open. We had to wait a few minutes to exit so they could clear a lane for us. Guess they weren't expecting that.

I didn't even see a security guard. Never got patted down or anything. I walked right in which was the surprising thing, especially since ppl on here were talkin about them not letting cameras into Ultra.

You just never know what you are going to get. I carried a bag in so when I walked up to security I opened my bag up for them and let them look in and I didnt even get patted. Because they were distracted by my bag. They patted my husband and made him empty his pockets and stuff but I had the camera on me. You just never know whats going to happen till you get there. Better to be prepared then get busted.

they have those every year...they used to include a DVD with the ticket that you would pick up once u enter the park......but i havent seen that since like 2005 or so......
