Cell phones work, you will be roaming within Spain….if you want to talk with friends in the island, I recommend getting a Spanish Sim card, just get one from movistar for 20euros (includes some minutes)...

What is the US/EURO exchange rate in Ibiza currency.
I know it changes every day but I just wanted to have an idea.
I just call my bank (wells Fago) they sell 1 Euro for $1.5081 even thought the whole sale price is at $1.4170 right now.
Wondering what is the best buy in the US or once you get to Ibiza.
Also anyone use ATM to get cash in Ibiza?
I have a capitalOne No Hassle Miles which is awsome for travel cause they do not charge a fee for international charge, just that day conversion rate, I have used it in Spain before be never in Ibiza.

-Can you use American dollar or do you need to convert into Euro? And if you do, where do you go for this? Any tips? Should you bring travelers checks?

-Can you get cash out of ATM machines there? Can you use any Credit Card?

-Can you drink in the cabs?
