Coachella 2013 - 2nd week

anyone else think theres too many all access bands on sale now? space, opium, musicmatters, and now nikki beach. its kinda funny.


and that christopher lawrence party totally got the idea for the name from the tuesday markus party... lol... weak sauce.

is this new?

Agreed. And what's even worse, is the timing of them. Like the Nikki Beach one, when people have probably already purchased presales and stuff. The F-U bands were pretty special 2 years ago, but now all of them are such a money making scheme. Still, I think if I put a little money away here and there for the next few years, specifically for WMC, then one year I could just buy all the bands, hahaha. Now that would be a crazy week, and probably impossible to survive.

For the price I paid for a black band, $660 with the service charge, I think it's a great deal. Now the $1180 they want for it, no dice. The platinum bands at $750 weren't to outragous. Maybe all these bands will mean more compatition and cheaper prices next year. Probably not.

is it just me or this year has some amazing talent? I mean for all genres its insane this time around. Some of the more well known annual events arent as great but there are so many small ones that will be fun. seems like a hardcore revival of WMC for events
