It was an amazing sound experience as it always is with Holden. He fucked up his mixing more than just a few times (and that's letting him off the hook easy) but he still had the crowd in the palm of his hands throughout the 3 and 1/2 hours. Location was amazing, turn out was awesome, it was great seeing the familiar faces of some TAs (Anne especially..it's been a long time). Erika? It's a shame you had to go pretty much as soon as he started. Hi to Enigmatik, jesse, tag, piett, anne, val, allied, and the usual crew im with (erika, maher, haki, juan etc.) hmmmm i might be forgetting someone so sorry about that.
Wasn't there for Fake and caught only the last bit of Fairmont but it seems obvious that Holden stole the show. It was cool seeing Fake and Fairmont among the crowd.
I have some pics, the good ones will probably end up on facebook, same with the videos.
Holden was definately better at Metropolis but the new tracks he has were more than worth it.
